Banana. Hammer. Smash! EP by djanubus

Finally! It's here. The long awaited "Banana. Hammer. Smash!" EP. As my first original contribution to the electronic music world, the Banana. Hammer. Smash! EP blends my influences of hip-hop, funk, rock, disco, house and electro into three tracks that truly represent my take on electronic music.
.
"Lights Out" is a hip-hop influenced track, featuring in your face lyric samples, heavy bass kick and a moderate tempo giving it a modern hip-hop feel. "Disco Lazers" is a straight forward electro track with a multitude of synthesizers and a four on the floor drum pattern that promises to be a banger. "We Can Do This" pushes electronic styling towards the pop side of things with a bright feeling, melodic vocals and a catchy lead synth.
.
I hope you enjoy Banana. Hammer. Smash! and my ridiculous album art as much as I enjoyed making it. All tracks are 320 kbps and downloadable via the Soundcloud player. If you have any trouble playing or downloading the tracks please send me a message using the contact form.

Here it is folks! Track number two from us to you here at the Disco Llama crew (Mike Device and myself). Ok, I'm done being a rapper.
This is our second (demo) release as a pre-cursor to our upcoming mix tape. The track is called "Get On Up" and is another disco house banger. Hope you all enjoy it!

Look for our mix tape in the coming months, followed by the release of a hand full of our remixes and original tracks from the mix.

Get On Up by Disco Llama

Its been a while since I released a track. So, while you wait for the full Disco Llama release and for my EP to surface (one of these days I'll stop tweaking it), I thought I'd share a remix that has been on the back burner for some time. . Its called "Ghost In The Machine" and is a combination of Daft Punk's "Da Funk and Ghostface's "Cher Chez La Ghost." Originally, I use to do this remix live, scratching Ghostface over Daft Punk and chopping it up on the trigger finger. But, I figured why not make it an actual remix and share it. So here it is, "Ghost In The Machine."

Last week Pro Audio Star sent over a Denon DN-MC6000 to see if I could put a little turntablist flavor on Denon's new all-in-one dj controller. I took a couple days and came up with a short routine, trying to showcase as many of the functions possible on the DN-MC6000 and bundled Virtual Dj Software. I hadn't touched either before, or a all-in-one controller at all for that matter but, we headed over to the Professor's Loft and filmed it.

The tracks I used were my good friend Scott Matelic's "Party People (Emynd Remix)." my, unreleased, "Disco Lazers" and Datsik & Excision's "Swagga." Big thanks to Dillon from Pro Audio Star for setting it all up as well as Ghostdad and Maria for filming, hanging out and just dealing with me in general! Look for lots more Pro Audio Star/ Dj Anubus projects in the near future!

Video after the jump.

Like a Punk

I haven't heard the name Adam Tensta in a while. I'm not sure if its because I generally have no idea what's going on or because he hasn't done anything but, what I assume is, his latest offering comes in the form of "Like A Punk." The song is a nice meld of electro, punk and hip-hop lyricism. I assume there will be a slew of heavy hitting remixes for this. The video reminds me of the good ol' Buffalo winters (and episodes of "Hoarders"). Hustling through the snow to see a hip-hop show at a punk venue. Good times.

Recorded live and in wind pants! This is just a little video I put together of a routine I made using Bassnectar's "Backpack Rehab." Enjoy!

PS- "Duffman says a lot of things."

Flight Facilities - Crave you Feat. Giselle [Official Video] from Flight Facilities on Vimeo.

This is a new cut from Flight Facilities featuring the super smooth vocal accompaniment of Giselle. I've been playing this track for a few weeks and it has quickly become on of my favorite early night jams. It has a sweet melody and a great build. It also has the most boring video ever. But, I like the track so much I just had to share it. Enjoy.

Here it is! My latest original composition, entitled, "We Can Do This." It is available for FREE download via the Soundcloud player. If you have any trouble listening or downloading please contact me using the "Contact Me" link to the right. Enjoy!

Check the new video for "I Want You" from my good buddy Rhyson Hall.

Here it is! HOORAY! 's first original relase: "Funemployment" I promised it long ago and, after a few hectic weeks, I am delivering. Music player and more after the jump...
