Well, the time is finally upon us. As of Monday, August 8th at Noon o'clock, the voting for the DMC Online World Championship Finals is open to the public. To quote DMC...
"...that public voting begins from 5pm (GMT) on the 8th August. The public's TOP TEN will be finalized at 5pm (GMT) on Tuesday the 30th August at which point these ten performances will be handed over to the panel of DMC CHAMPIONS who will be watching and judging in every corner of the world."
So, as before I need your vote to get my routine into the hands of the final deciders, the DMC judges. So, I hope that you will take the time to sign up, vote and share my routine with your friends and family (note: your grandma loves dubstep beat juggles).

So, I said that this years DMCs for me were just for fun. I did it for a little inspiration and a little humility (which I got a giant hand full of). I am indeed a turntablist but, these days, quite the digital one. Vinyl only is, and hasn't been for years, my only body of work. So, to take cue points, loops, midi controllers and effects away from me strips me from my creative path and abilities. So, I was done... Then, I woke up (yes I know its 2pm) to this post on my favorite site skratchworx.com

So, I guess we'll wait and see if they allow midi controllers, effects and the like but, maybe my battle days aren't over. Simply to be a part of the first digital DMCs would be a lot of fun. This should push the creativity levels in the current dj scene a great deal (boy does it need it) so, we wait a year and then it (might) be on like donkey kong.
