Bio

Born and raised in the sleepy prison town of Elmira Heights, NY,
Bradley Piersons has been a multi-instrument maven from a young age. A
short-lived stint in the trumpet section of the high school band sent
Brad running for the electric guitar, drawing from his father's
classic rock influence. Brad spent his formative musical years playing
in basement bands and soon found serious musicians hard to come by.
So Brad found turntables.

The Year 2000: Armed with his turntables and the fresh DJ Anubus
moniker, our hero descended upon college and the surrounding city of
Buffalo, NY, with one thing in his sights: scratching*. (*There were
some girls, too, and he saved some really cute cats from being snake
food, and he grew a beard and shaved it off, but those things aren't
really important to our story.) Working his way around the Buffalo
battle and underground hip hop scene, Anubus soaked up knowledge and
skill from peers like Cutler, Optimus Prime and LoPro that would see
Anubus to various local dj battles, showcases, recording gigs, tours
and eventually the NYC DMC Finals. Always looking for fresh
experiences and inspiration kept Anubus on the move, from NYC to
Burlington to San Diego, searching for his niche. Holding down
various club nights and producing beats for everything from hip hop
acts to DC Shoes videos along the way, Anubus eventually found himself
calling The Big Apple home once again.

Now Anubus can be found rocking anything from old school funk and soul
to dance and electro sets from Cain to 10ak to Arrow Bar or Le Poisson Rouge
and beyond. Regardless of venue or genre, Anubus is always heavy on
the cuts and precise on the mixes, opening listeners' minds and
stealing their hearts. With the mixtape "Step Aside" and numerous
electro/ dance remixes and original compositions flying around, Anubus
